I've been thru quite a few tires on my motorcycles, often trying any one brand/model two times, front and rear. I've tracked all of the miles on each tire, along with dates changed and so far these tires have had the most traction with decent life. I know every rider and bike will get different miles on a given set of tires, so I can say with all of the ones I've personally used, these tires are a great combination. The only drawback is the front didn't last as long as I would like, but I'd rather have a little extra traction up front, if anywhere.
My riding habits are:
70% Daily commuting - 30 miles round trip, all weather.
15% Light touring - I try to avoid interstates when possible (take the good U.S./state highways)
15% Mountain/curvy roads - I'm good for getting out and tearing up the good stuff; no chicken strips here!
The tires wear evenly, except like mentioned before, the front wears quick. Definitely a good value.
