Waste of money for me! September 5, 2010 rickzz (New Jersey) I bought this gage solely because I wanted high accuracy and reliability.
After receiving the item, I wasn't happy with how bulky it is- but I was fine with that if it was at least accurate.
At first, the gage was fine (it indicated my other cheaper gages were off by 2 psi). After a few weeks, though, the gage stopped returning to 0 psi (stuck at 5 psi). Consequently, all my readings became suspect (since they now indicated my cheaper gages were off by 7 psi) and I stopped using it. My cheaper gages may be off by 2 psi but hey, at least they still work.
This is supposed to be a high quality product and hand calibrated, etc. But it's also a waste of money in my case.
Note: I did not drop the gage or misuse it in anyway. Now, it's a high-end paper weight in my garage.
Great Gauges August 9, 2010 Robert F. Bailey (San Antonio, TX) I purchased the 0-100 PSI and the 0-60 PSI plus a protective cover for each. It really is no problem putting on the covers. Two crescent wrenches and some pipe stick. The whole process took about 15 minutes for both. I immediately checked the reading of both gauges on a tire with 40 PSI and they were right on. They feel good in your hand and you get a firm connection on the tire stem each time. Multiply readings on the same tire give you a consistent number. I like these gauges and would buy them again but would recommend always purchasing a cover.
better than under or over inflating with a cheap guage July 19, 2010 R. Cottrell This is an investment that you wont regret. The gauge is very large so easy to read and hard to lose and very easy to read your precise target tire pressure. You generally will pump up the tire over what you need, and then bump the release button several times to back down to the exact pressure you want. On two cars, this tire pressure offset most of the tendency of the car to drive off top dead center. Uneven tire pressures will make your car pull slightly right or left. This tire gauge is accurate, reasonably priced, and very easy to use. It does not leak much air when installing it on the tire valve, like lesser gauges do.
Nice Tire gauge July 16, 2010 Keith (OK, USA) Bought this after a cheapo digital tire gauge went out. Valve stem connector fits perfectly without air loss and swivels to make reading the gauge easier. The dial is big and easy to read. I would recommend the Moroso 89590 Tire Pressure Gauge Cover to protect the gauge from shocks that could mess up the calibration.
mmmmm.... June 29, 2010 Del I must say that it does it's job. It shipped earlier than expected. Came in good condition. The only bad part is that I think i spent too much, I'm not sure it was worth the money =/
