4 out of 5 stars Useful   August 15, 2010
E. Kienzle (Arizona)
Works fine, didn't have any drama with oil or anything. A useful and easy to use tool for all tires.

4 out of 5 stars Accurate measurements of tread depth   July 26, 2010
Kurt Veggeberg (Austin, Texas)
Does a much better job of measuring tire depth vs using a quarter to measure 4/32" or a penny for 2/32" (to the top of the head). Hard to find in parts stores so ordering on-line is convenient.

4 out of 5 stars tread depth gauge review   May 26, 2010
R. Johnson (Colorado)
I've wanted a tread depth gauge for a long time. The old "insert a coin in the tire tread" method was just not telling me what I wanted to know. I think this is going to be a worthwhile tool to have over the next several years. The measurement markings are a little hard to read, but the price of the tool is right, and it works just fine for me.

5 out of 5 stars Great tool   May 13, 2010
B. Johnson (Olympia, WA USA)
Everyone should have one of these to monitor the tire wear. Catch an issue and get repairs done before the tire is worn beyond saving.

5 out of 5 stars Best tread depth gauge purchased so far   May 9, 2010
Too Tall (New Rochelle, NY United States)
This gauge does not easily move around, like some of the other gauges I have. It holds the depth until you can view and record it. Nice product and a great price.
